Showing you how to make a Persian rice called Kalam Polow. If you normally aren't a big fan of cabbage (which I'm not), try this recipe and you may change your mind! :) I'm making it with with green cabbage (looks pale green), meatballs and a potato tahdig (which is optional). You can add a drizzle of saffron water to the oil before layering your potatoes, to give them extra color. If you would like to make this a vegetarian dish you can omit the meatballs. *You don't have to mix the rice, when finished you can flip it onto a platter for a beautiful display of your tahdig.
