As a child, we are taught to "earn money, so that we can spend it" to buy candies and toys. But, the goal was never to earn a few bucks, the goal was to help us develop a work ethic, and from there to leverage funds from surrounding people for investment. The fact is that for many of us, we will never be so short on funds as to not be able to afford food & water -- this scenario was only created by parents to get us started. When you reach a million, you will understand that money never held you back. You held you back.
