Hey guys! I would very much like you guys to learn how to show a little bit of an element of surprise in what is being said, like I can't believe it. So for instance, speaking of the environment, you might say we only have one Earth, so let's protect it. I wonder why people would expect the government to shoulder the burden of protecting the environment! It's also down to us! I use the word 'would' to express surprise and at times anger, like "why would you assume it was me?", "why would people assume the whole responsibility should lie with, for instance, the government?" What I'd like you guys to learn out of this the short lesson of mine is to use the word to express surprise like "How would I know?", "Why would you want me to do that?", "Why would people expect the government to take care of this?" and all that.
