I guess you guys, pretty much like I do, get these two mixed up. Although and while. I mean, there are times you're talking about differences. There's no surprise at all. There's no surprise whatsoever. For instance, ' I listen to pop music, my mother doesn't.' Is that surprising? No. So use the word while. ' while I listen to pop, my mother doesn't.' Or ' while my sister spends a great deal of time practicing her English lessons, I don't.' The difference does not necessarily surprise you.
